Use of BV and wire type
The purpose of BV line:
Full name of BV wire: copper core PVC insulated wire (single-core rigid conductor unsheathed cable), general-purpose single-core rigid conductor unsheathed wire, suitable for electric devices with AC voltage of 450V/750V and below, household appliances, instruments and cables and wires for telecommunication equipment. Uses Ordinary insulated wire, household wire, is the most common type of wire. BV is the abbreviation of BVT: B stands for category: cloth wire, T stands for conductor: copper conductor, V stands for insulation: polyvinyl chloride.
Types of BV Wires:
BV line is divided into: ZR-BV and NH-BV
ZR-BV: copper core PVC insulated flame retardant wire: insulation is added with flame retardant, it will not burn when left open flame.
NH-BV: copper core PVC insulated fire-resistant wire: can continue to be used under normal fire conditions.
Characteristics of BV line: It has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance, moisture resistance, mildew resistance and so on.
What is the difference between BV line and BVR line?
BV is a copper core PVC insulated wire, which is a single-core copper wire, and the BV wire is composed of a wiring. The BV line is particularly hard, and it is generally used in hidden places, and the use time is also relatively long, and it is not easy to oxygen. However, it is difficult to bend, and if it is bent, it will be damaged.
BVR is a copper core PVC insulated flexible wire, which is a multi-strand wire. BVR wire is composed of multiple conductors and insulating layers. It will be used in some soft positions. The BVR wire is particularly soft, can be used through a tube, has a short service life, and is easily oxidized.
Knowledge of BV wire and cable
BV cable: It is a copper core PVC insulated wire and cable, referred to as plastic copper wire.
Conductor material: Oxygen-free copper; Insulation material: PVC; Rated voltage: 450/750V
Color: black, yellow, blue, red, brown, white, etc.
Working temperature: 60 degrees, 70 degrees, 95 degrees
When laying cables (lines), the ambient temperature should not be lower than minus 15 degrees.
Cable allowable bending radius:
Cable outer diameter (D) less than 25mm shall not be less than 4D;
The cable outer diameter (D) of 25mm and above shall not be less than 6D.
Advantages and disadvantages of BV line and BVR line:
The hardness of BV wire is very high, it can be used in concealed works. And it is used for a long time, and it is not easy to be oxidized and aged. If the BV wire is bent, it cannot be restored, and the wire will be damaged and cannot be used normally.
The BVR wire is relatively soft, it can be used in bending engineering, and can be used for pipe threading operation, which is not easy to break, and the operation is relatively simple. However, the BVR wire is relatively soft, and it will oxidize when used in a humid environment.
