What are the installation methods and precautions for wires and cables?

Through statistical analysis of line faults, faults caused by factors such as construction, installation, and connection are often much more likely to occur than faults caused by high-temperature line body defects. Therefore, in addition to the correct selection of wires and cables and supporting accessories, how to install them correctly and safely in addition to designing and constructing according to the specifications?

Through statistical analysis of line faults, faults caused by factors such as construction, installation, and connection are often much more likely to occur than faults caused by high-temperature line body defects. Therefore, in addition to the correct selection of wires and cables and supporting accessories, how to install them correctly and safely in addition to designing and constructing according to the specifications?

The three most standardized wiring methods for household wires
  1. Conventional winding wiring method
The first common method is to use two wires to intersect the copper wires for winding. Remember to leave one end to buckle it after winding. Only in this way can we ensure that the connectors of the wires will not catch fire, short circuit or poor contact.

Note: There should be no joints in the home decoration, especially in the wire pipe. If there are joints, they should also be in the wire box. The usual wire joints are connected in this way, so as to ensure that the wire joints do not cause ignition, short circuit, and poor contact. Using this method, the end of each wire must be treated in this way, so as to effectively avoid the risk of electric shock. Here I want to remind everyone that there must be no connectors when decorating at home, especially for online management. If there are connectors, they should also be in the wire box.
  2. Fireproof tape method
This method is rarely used, and is generally used for spotlights in the ceiling. It should be noted that the main wire cannot be broken, and the auxiliary wire is wound around the main wire 6-8 times. Then wrap it with fireproof tape on the outside, which can effectively prevent the insulation layer on the outer edge from being burned by the wire and prevent short circuit at the wiring. If the wire joints are not wrapped with insulating tape, the wires will be exposed, which may easily cause electric leakage or even electric shock accidents. Therefore, it must be wrapped with insulating tape to prevent electric leakage.
  3. Connection method of crimping cap
The crimping cap is a small tool specially used for wire connection, which is very practical and safe. Using this method is the most standard and simplest. When wiring, you need to have matching crimping caps and pliers. It is very important to choose a matching crimping cap according to the square number of the connected wires. When wiring, use crimping pliers for crimping wires to crimp the wires, put the special pliers for crimping wires on the crimping caps, and press firmly. In addition, the operation of using the sleeve cap does not need to be repeated with insulating tape.

Precautions for wire installation:
1. Correct connection method
In the process of laying wires, joints should be avoided as much as possible, because often the joints are the most prone to large resistance, which will cause the wires to heat up. If the joints cannot be avoided, it is necessary to wrap the joints tightly with insulating tape.
2. Choose a reasonable installation form
There are two different forms of installation of indoor wires: surface installation and concealed installation. Surface installation is laid along the surface of the wall and ceiling. Note that the wires must not be squeezed or folded when the family installs them by themselves. The wires are fixed securely. Concealed installation refers to the wires laid in the wall or ceiling. For safety reasons, the concealed installation must be operated by professional personnel.
3. Use the ground wire correctly
For some electrical appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators that require three-phase plugs, a reliable ground wire must be installed.
