The current infrastructure construction, power installation and other projects are inseparable from ACSR. Steel core aluminum stranded wire cable belongs to the power system in wire and cable. The main feature of this product is pure conductor metal, without insulation and sheath layer. The processing technology is mainly pressure processing, such as smelting, calendering, drawing, stranding/compression stranding, etc.; the products are mainly used in suburban areas, rural areas, user main lines, switch cabinets, etc.
How is ACSR conductor produced?
The production process of aluminum steel cored wire is mainly wire drawing and stranding, without too complicated operations. The acsr wire conductor is mainly made of aluminum wire and steel wire, and the internal steel core is generally made of galvanized steel wire. Steel-cored aluminum stranded wire is made of high-carbon steel wire rod, which is cold-drawn into steel wire after surface treatment, and then a certain number of steel wires are twisted into strands according to the steel strand structure, and then made by stress relief and stabilization process. For extended durability, steel wire can be coated with metallic or non-metallic coatings such as galvanized and epoxy coated. In order to increase the clamping force with concrete, the surface can have nicks, etc. After tensioning, the prestressed steel strand has undergone molding process, the structure is more compact, and the surface layer is more suitable for anchor grasping. Unbonded prestressed steel strands are made of ordinary prestressed steel strands, coated with anti-corrosion grease or paraffin, and then wrapped with HDPE.
Joints of steel-cored aluminum conductors: joints are not allowed for all steel cores, no joints are allowed for any round aluminum wire in the 7-strand aluminum wire, and round aluminum wires in the stranded layer of 19 strands and above are not allowed Joints are allowed, but the distance between any two joints on the finished strand should not be less than 15 meters. The aluminum wire should be welded by cold pressure or resistance butt welding, and the joints should be smooth and round. The joints by resistance butt welding should be annealed, and the annealed length of each side should not be less than 200mm.
The twisting direction of the steel-cored aluminum stranded wire: the twisting direction of the adjacent layers should be opposite; the outermost layer of the aluminum wire is right.
Pitch of steel-reinforced aluminum stranded wire: According to the process card, the pitch diameter ratio of any layer of aluminum wire or steel wire should not be greater than the pitch diameter ratio of its adjacent inner layer aluminum wire or steel wire.
Stranding of steel-reinforced aluminum strands: it should be uniform and tight, and the strands should not be scattered in the natural state after cutting.
ACSR conductor wire has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient erection and maintenance, low line cost, large transmission capacity, good conductivity, sufficient mechanical strength, high tensile strength, and increased distance between poles and towers, which is conducive to crossing special geographical locations such as rivers and valleys Conditional laying. Therefore, it is widely used in overhead transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.
Features of ACSR conductors:
1. Anti-corrosion performance: When the surface of the ACSR conductor wire is in contact with the air, a thin and firm oxide layer will be formed immediately. This oxide layer is particularly resistant to various forms of corrosion.
2. It has good electrical conductivity, sufficient mechanical strength and high tensile strength;
3. Thermal conductivity and thermal stability, under high temperature working conditions, there is no obvious change in its latitude. It also has sub-damping characteristics, which is conducive to reducing the vibration of the breeze and the line loss of the transmission line.
